Sent you a text, I have I think the 2021 but it's not as easy as just, throw the USB in :).  I find it funny GM has the 2023 maps "out of stock" when it's a USB update.  Although, loss of $$$ on their side.

Is there a 2023 map released for NA market? Because for Europe, the updates have stopped after GM sold Opel/Vauxhall - latest is 2020, I think (with a 2019 data).

Usually the question of maintaining fresh map releases are purely with licensing/service fees. GM does not produce any map data - they pay for this service to a cartographic data provider (Navteq/HERE, Garmin, Tomtom). If there is no active contract between two - no map releases. And map data from different providers usually is not interchangeable.

But for HMI2.5 this is not an issue, as you could easily connect your phone with current navigation data via AA or CP. This is a lifesaver! Even with outdated built-in map data, the system is not useless and obsolete anymore.

There was here for sure, I watched it come on sale a few times and I just kept thinking "Do I really need this?".  I held off due to CP.  I rarely use the factory nav so I didn't bother.  I've got the 2021 NA map updates though.
