Recommended Posts

Changing the VIN in GM SMD AirBag modules is vital when recycling a used module. You can achieve this by using this DPS file.

These files only works with GM Global-A vehicles.

Play the video to see the process.

GM Global-A 2 byte seed file

GM Global-A 5 byte seed file

I'm not getting comm with the modulo. DPS closes suddendly and SPS gives error of comm

sdm uses low speed can bus

with 4 cables in the small connector, you can communicte with SDM in DPS

9 0.5 RD/WH 4440 Battery Positive Voltage

15 0.35 D-GN 5060 Low Speed GMLAN Serial Data

17 0.35 PK 1139 Ignition 1 Voltage

19 0.5 BK/WH 2751 Ground

are you using globaltis (offline) or tis2web.service.opel.com (online)?

@Arbe_gtc tis2web.service.opel.com

@Lyubomir Krastanov no, i think you maybe right it might be .dll or something like this. I can't programm any module. Every time i try, DPS crashes

bear in mind I just check wiring diagrams and there is show obd-ipc-sdm, so to communicate with sdm may require to have ipc in line. As well you can try to go in GDS2 and configure SDM from there have option for new module. Someone on Insignia this rewrite VIN
