hello. I got a brand new HMI (2.0) from eBay because my HMI broke down. Replaced old (1.1) I plugged it into the vehicle and tried to do SPS2 programming, it says VIN is missing and cannot continue. When diagnosed with GDS, only the first character of VIN could not be read. Is there any solution? -

Cool. On this attached photo I see an icon name recorder. Is the recorder icon used for recording the PDR in the HMI 2.5?

PDR is short for performance data recorder - which is like having a GoPro facing forward with the added addition of speed, RPM, braking, throttle, G force and steering angle on the screen and recorded as well; works out great if you take it to the track on weekends…..

Hi Troy - Using your file I just reset the VIN on my new IO6 radio and HMI on my 2019 after getting ahold of an MDI-2 interface; thanks so much as this was my last stumbling block to adding the PDR in addition to NAV in my vehicle. Thanks again my friend for your answers and help !!!.....Don
