Hi, there is no VIN changing file for ECU.

Hi, I don't know.

However they should work on gm cars that uses the traditional looking BCM module that looks like one in the attached photo.

You can try it. Type4 apps are safe to use and won’t cause any issues with the modules.

Hello guys , please tell me to change the vin code , do you need to reprogram the block or is it possible to change it separately ?

Hi everyone, these Type4 files crash on the communication establishing on my system (4.44, 4.45, Win7). Any ideas, what could be the problem?

Also, on Win10 that button is missing. Not sure how to install Techline Connect.

Also, I installed latest Techline connect on my Win10 machine, where button was missing - no effect.

Type 4 apps does not change vin in the modules

type4 apps does not change vin in the modules. 
 

Make sure TLC is install and is able to launch from your acdelco sps account via sps subscription. 

The type4 options shows on my windows 10 system with TLC fully install.

Is there another way to activate TYPE4 change contact gm techline?

Installing gm techline did work for me!

@root said he found a solution without needing to install TLC for the type4 option to show up, maybe he can help.
